Digital Swiss pass and 50% discount fare

Hello, I am trying to book a ticket to the Matterhorn glacier paradise. However, it states that I need to have a physical card in order to get the discount and I only have a digital card since I bought it online. Please advise on how could I get this discounted fare. Thank you!

The ~~SwissPass~~ is a red plastic card for residents to save tickets and travel cards on it.

You as a tourist hold the Swiss Travel Pass, that’s not the same.
You as a tourist can get the tickets on-site in Zermatt only, not online; simply go to the cable car base station to purchase your reduced tickets.

Yes, we wish that Zermatt Bergbahnen would better describe the case when using the Swiss Travel Pass as your question is asked many times here.

Also, NEVER EVER buy such expensive cable car tickets in advance! Only get them on site, once a reliable short-term local weather forecast is available or even better, you’ve already checked real-time webcam footage from the summit!
Otherwise you risk seeing nothing but a very expensive fog up there.
