Missing Customer Number on profile?

Hello.

I have recently downloaded the Swiss Pass app while overseas in preparation for an upcoming trip to Switzerland. The Swiss Pass app has allowed me to create a profile, however it did not provide me a Customer number.

How do I get a Cuatomer Number so I can purchase tickets via the app?

Welcome to the SBB Community.

There is no app called SwissPass but SBB Mobile app. You probably meant the latter.

As a tourist, you do not have a customer number, only residents using annual and seaonsal travel cards do have it. Simply log in to you the SBB Mobile app using your e-mail and password. Then you are ready to use the app as a registered user.

Very helpful. Assuming we can not link our Bernina Express and Glacier Express reservation (purchased via their website) to our SBB mobile app?

No. Only tickets that were purchased as registered user at either sbb.ch or through the SBB Mobile App do appear in the app.

Seat reservations are the responsibility of the operating train companies. None of the tickets or reservations can be imported into the SBB Mobile app.

Simply show them as PDF with the QR-Code available. And do not forget your physical passport.
