from grindelwald to jungfraujoch

Hi, I notice if im using the sbb app to plan a trip from grindelwald to jungfraujoch the trip planner will show a GB 2444 cable car and a CC65,
may i know if this is the best way to reach jungfraujoch?
is the CC65 means eigerexpress which means i dont need to reserve as well as purchase additional ticket for eiger express?

There are three routes to the Jungfraujoch. The trip planner will show you the quickest. I always suggest people to go up via Grindelwald Terminal and the Eiger Express, and return via Wengen and Lauterbrunnen. Any return ticket to Jungfraujoch (except if from Wengen) permits that.
I also always suggest people not to buy tickets for the Jungfraujoch in advance. Buy them here at the station when you know what the weather is going to be.

may i know why would you suggest this route?
if buying at the station i can show them the half fare pass in my sbb app to get the 50% discount?
btw is it okay to do grindelwald First and jungfraujoch in one day if i plan to and some little hike at grindelwald First , or is it better to saperate them in 2 days?

would you suggest me places i should visit around the interlaken/grindelwald area?

I suggest the round trip because of the views. When going up via the Eiger Express you get a good view of the Eiger. If you then later take the train down via Wengen you get a different view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau trio. And you can break your trip in Wengen for a stroll around the village, and do the same in Lauterbrunnen.

I think that trying to do both First and Jungfraujoch on the same day will be very hectic. But it is up to you to know where your boundaries are…,

Once in Wengen, you have 2 “round-trip” options for getting back to Grindelwald:

Cable cars via Männlichen Peak (more scenic, but more expensive)
Train down to Lauterbrunnen, then transfer in Zweilütschinen back to Grindewald.
