Hello, I have a question about the FIP reduction card for railway employees with a 50% discount. I want to purchase a ticket upgrade from 2nd class to 1st class, but I am not sure if I can use the 50% reduction with this FIP card, since the card specifies that the discount is only for the second class. Is it possible to apply this discount in this case? Thank you so much.

A tricky question, indeed.

With the FIP reduction card for 2nd class, you have to purchase class upgrades at full fare.

A half fare class upgrade was possible if you had the 1st class reduction card.
