SwissPass card and Half Fare

I just recently managed to get a customer number on SwissPass but I don’t have a card. Does it come only when we purchase a travel card or I need to order a card to have be able to purchase the travel card? Thank you if you can clarify this to me. E.

When you purchase a travel card, the SwissPass card will be sent to you, with the travel card on it. When you want the travel card valid, before the card arrives, you can go to a counter and they can give you a temporary SwissPass.
