It can lead to confusing situations during ticket checks. Since a refund request has been submitted, the ticket is marked as ‘refund requested’. So this is very suspicious from a ticket inspector’s view point and one may think it is a ticket fraud. Certainly, a ticket that was electronically validated by the ticket inspector will not be refunded. However, I find it better to call SBB, to cancel the refund request.
