Hello Aman
Welcome to the SBB Community.
We are a customer support page run by volunteers, not the SBB Customer Service. Thus, we are travel experts answering questions in our spare time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
If you want to file a complaint, please call the phone number mentioned at the lower part of the receipt ‘Travel without a valid ticket’. Or go to www.sbb.ch/rogf if you want to do so in writing:
https://www.sbb.ch/en/help-and-contact/my-travelcards/travel-without-valid-ticket/rechnung-formular.html
Keep in mind, a response to a written complaint may take multiple days.
Just to share my view on the case:
It is correct, all passengers must be in the possession of a valid ticket before the train’s departure. What concerns EasyRide, you must be able to view the generated QR code before the train starts to move, otherwise your ticket is not considered valid. Since the check-in process may take a few seconds to complete, SBB suggests doing the check-in before boarding the train.
There is actually no reason to purchase the ticket at the very last second. Since you knew that you have to go at work, you could have purchased your ticket aleady at home (e.g. during breakfast) for a later departure.
You can find all information about travel without a valid ticket here:

Kind regards,
Roland
