friends day pass for youth

I wanted to know if we can use this ticket for busses trams and trains. We will stay in Zurich and while travelling to different cities we also want to travel inside Zurich with bus and trams as well. Can we use this day pass?

As you can see there: YES, the pass is valid even for city transit.

However, Zurich is not well located to do day trips. If you can you should reconsider your base and change to a place which is more centrally located, such as Bern or Lucerne. And, Zurich is expensive > might to be considered if you are on a budget travel.

As the website so handily says:

A whole day for your group of friends: you can together travel on your chosen day on routes in the GA Travelcard area of validity until 5am on the following day.

So yes, you can use all public transit in Switzerland.
