How to get from Point A to Point B during train

So in late April this year I’m gonna be visiting Maienfeld from Zurich HB but I recently got notified that there will be interrupted service between Pfaffikon SZ and Lachen SZ during the date I will be going. I just wanna make sure to see if anyone knows that if I’ll still be able to go that date to Maienfeld. Do we take a bus transfer? How will things work?

Don’t worry, if the line is closed you will find replacement buses but the timetables are not published months in advance.

In such cases, you have staff in the stations to inform you and also special signs to indicate where the buses wait.
