The Swiss Travel Pass offers free travel from the boarder station at Buchs SG to Zurich HB. Since it is a Swiss Travel Pass, it is not valid in Austria. In order to get the free travel on the Swiss stretch, simply declare the GA Travel Card as ticket type.

On board the train, handout your ticket for Austria as well as the Swiss Travel Pass.
