Hello smart.one
The first generation of SwissPass cards are being replaced as they are end-of-life. Therefore, customers holding these cards are being asked to provide a new photo in order to produce new cards. The e-mail that you have received looks genuine but check again the sender carefully. Also make sure you log in to www.swisspass.ch.
Whether you have to provide a photo you can check yourself in the SBB Mobile app. Go to Profile > Personal data > Personal data at SwissPass. If you see there a button to upload a picture, you are required to provide a new photo. A new card is being produced automatically. You could also check for the necessity of a new photo if you login to the swisspass.ch website.
Furthermore, whenever you are in doubts whether the e-mail was indeed sent by the organisation mentioned, simply contact the organisation by calling. Currently, you could call SBB: 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min, waiting times are possible) to verifiy the correctness of the e-mail received.
Kind regards,
Roland
