Last week I purchased tickets for myself and 5 colleagues on your carrier through Trainline.
I am a senior citizen from Canada and I made two errors while booking our trip between Lucerne and Paris. One, I booked a refundable fare for what I thought was both portions of the trip(Lucerne-Geneva, Geneva-Paris) only to find out that I was covered for only the first part of the trip.
Secondly, in my confusion I also booked the trip for the wrong day…April 18th instead of the 17th. As soon as I realized the error I rebooked the trip for the proper day(the 17th) and then contacted Trainline to see if they could reimburse me for the six tickets I would not need on the 18th. They have refused pointing out that the scond half of my trip is non refundable. My problem now is I’m out a considerable amount of money AND I have six seats for a train trip between Geneva and Paris that I cannot use. Is there any way that I could return those tickets to your company since there is still plenty of time for you to resell them at no overall loss of money?
Yours pleadingly
Dan
