Route changed due to construction work

Hello

I bought a ticket a few months ago though DB, to go from Berlin to Geneva airport, I will need to take 3 trains. Yesterday I discovered that the train from Bern to the airport has changed route and will not go to the airport. I talked with the costumer support from DB and they say I can take any train I want. But I would like to find a confirmation of the same from SBB, but I dont find it. What should I do? Does anyone know if I can take any train?

You must take the trains indicated on your ticket until Geneva main station, after you can take the next available train to the airport or a replacement bus if the line is closed.

When I had a ticket on my DB app that stated that I can take any train, I was sceptical but it indeed did work even in Switzerland, as long as you use a train that gets you in the right direction, you obviously can’t take a train anywhere
