How to reserve seats with Day Pass?

Hi all, I have recently gotten a Day Pass and intend to use it to travel from Paris to Interlaken (transit Basel) but I have noticed that reservations are required for TGV train from Paris > Basel. Does anyone know how to make reservations of the train with my Day Pass?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

You will need a ticket for Paris to Basel. Buy that from SNCF. The ticket will come with a reservation. For Basel to Interlaken you do not need to do anything. Just find your train and get on.
