Saver Day Pass class upgrade for Glacier Express leg

Hello,
I am traveling from Zurich airport to Zermatt. I want to enjoy the Glacier Express (GE) as part of my journey to Zermatt. I planned to board the Glacier Express at Andermatt and take GE the rest of the journey to Zermatt.
I currently have a Saver Day Pass 2nd class for the travel day.
I made a reservation for the Glacier Express journey 1st class on the same day.

I believe that I must upgrade my 2nd class Saver Day Pass for the Glacier Express portion of the journey.
So;
I tried to make a class upgrade in the SBB app for the GE portion of the journey: but it was “grayed-out” stating: “…passenger does not fulfill the purchase conditions….”

Question: how can i assure i have a 1st class ticket for my Glacier Express reservation?

Try your luck on => this page,
then select “Route-specific Class Upgrade” on the right side, enter Andermatt to Zermatt on the following screen, select your connection (correct date!) and work your way through.
