Hello,
I have travelled every year from Spain to Switzerland in the summer for about 12 years and have always been able to benefit from the Swiss Monats Buga travel card sold at half price for use in the Graubünden canton only. This card was on offer at half price for the months of July and August and I think the last one I bought cost 225 or 250 CHF. Although I used it only for two weeks from the start date, it was very convenient and a very good offer.
I am now older than 65 and have a disability registered with and accepted by the Spanish state, and have documentation to prove that.
I am planning to travel to the Graubünden region again this summer, in June or July, and would be grateful if someone could inform me whether
- this Graubünden pass still exists or whether there is now only a similar pass that covers the whole of Switzerland?
- such a card is still valid only in July or August and only for a month from its start date?
- there is likely to be a half price offer for these passes in June, July or August?
- there is a similar pass that is valid for only 15-20 days which might therefore be less expensive?
- my carer or the person who travels with me, whether older or younger than 65, would be able to benefit from any discount due to their status as my carer?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Nicholas
