I am writing to seek assistance regarding charges related to my Half-Fare Travelcard. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel my subscription on time. However, as I had fully intended to cancel it, I never used the card. Subsequently, SBB proceeded with the cancellation, yet I was still charged a substantial amount, including the travelcard fee and associated fines.
I had assumed that, given the card was never used, the charges would be waived upon its cancellation. However, I have since received a poursuite from the Office Cantonal des Poursuites, which has placed me in a financially challenging situation.
Considering that the card remained entirely unused, I kindly request a reconsideration of these charges. I would greatly appreciate any possible assistance in resolving this matter, as I am currently unable to afford the imposed fees.
