Point to point validity

Hi, I bought a point to point ticket from Tirano to Saint Moritz. In the SBB app The ticket itself say validity 05:00 13-02 to 12:00 14-02. So I assume that I can use it for all the trains for that specific route. But always in the app in the section “train information” show me that I have to take the train at 09:00 of 13-02. So my question is. Is my ticked valid for all the train on the route or I’m forced to take that specific train ?

In Europe we use the 24hrs clock and the dd-mm-yyyy date format.

A point-to-point ticket is for a route, not a specific service.

A point-to-point ticket, as per your example, is valid from 13 Feb 00:00 (12 PM) to 14 Feb (05 AM), thus for a period of total 19 hours. In this time frame, you can travel the route 1 time from the departure to the destination point as per your ticket’s itinerary. You can take intermediate stops, and continue later yet always in the same travel direction, no back-tracking, it is not a day pass!

No, what the app does is remind you of the fact that this is the train you originally selected during the purchase. Just as a courtesy. It does not mean that your ticket is only valid for that train.
