What discount do I have on the GA subscription if I already own the Half Tax yearly subscription?

Firstly, welcome to the SBB Community.

There is either or.
If you hold the GA, you do need the Half Fare Card. Thus, you do not get any discounts on the GA if you have the Half Fare Card. The latter is for reduced tickets, not for abonnements; you can cancel it when purchasing the GA.

No, there is no discount. However after the GA purchase, you can claim the unused months of your Halbtax at a staffed ticket counter. This doesn’t happen automatically for this particular “upgrade” scenario.
