PE Luzern-Interlaken Express // Seat Reservation for Eurail Pass holders

Greetings everyone,

I have Eurail Pass, on 8 April 2025 I plan to go from Luzern to Interlaken, PE train Luzern-Interlaken Express departing at 18:06

This train is included in Eurail Pass, but I notice Seat Reservation is optional for this train. There is option to purchase Seat Reservation from eurail website, but it is a paper ticket, what I need is e-ticket.

I found out that I am able to purchase Seat Reservation only for that particular PE train in SBB website. I want to know if the Seat Reservation bought from SBB website can be used alongside my Eurail Pass.

In my opinion you do not really need a reservation on this train. Just come to the station, get on and find yourself a nice seat. Sit on the right side in the direction of travel for the best views.

Krist Thank you for your feedback. But I do want to own Seat Reservation for this train. I hope anyone have information wether Seat Reservation purchased from SBB website can be used alongside my Eurail Pass.

Of course, the seat reservation purchased from SBB can be used on the PE LIX.
