Hello. My family and I had to sit down separately because we bought supersavor tickets for the train from Spiez to Milan and from Milan to Florence. I want to sit side by side with my family. I would like to change my seat. Help Our Families Get Together, please.

Usually, Milan and Florence are connected by Frecciarossa trains with seat reservations compulsory and included in the price. When purchasing for all travellers, seats are allocated close together (if available).

We cannot “split” a ticket from a seat reservation, so I recommend asking the train staff and other travellers to swap seats.

That’s what I expected, similar to flight tickets where the seat is allocated automatically, at least with Supersaver equivalent tickets.

The only way to change the seats is if you have the existing tickets refunded and buy them again. However, depending on the condition, this may not be possible or fees may apply. The refund conditions are printed on the ticket.

If there are free seats available on the train, you can sit together with the permission of the train staff.
