During the winter period trains cannot be washed regularly; the cold nights make a cleaning impossible; the freezing water could have a major impact on the train’s safe operation. In addition, no matter how many times a train is washed, the fog lets make the trains appear dirty, as the dust suddenly becomes visible due to the high humidity.
