Paishoosonn25 HI I am wanting to travel from Zermatt to Milan in 1 day I have already booked Glacier express and reach St Moritz at 15:37 The train from St Moritz to Tirano leaves from the same train station? If I book a train ticket for 15:48 train, do I need to take that train itself or will the ticket be valid for 16:48 train too? And is it considered generally safe to travel on train in Italy at around 9-10PM to reach Milan from Tirano? Thanks in advance
Danhiel Hi Paishoosonn25 Yes, the train to Tirano leaves from the same station. If you buy a Saver Day Pass or a Point-to-point ticket, you can take the next train too. Why wouldn’t it be safe to travel in the evening in Italy? Kind regards Danhiel
Krist You do not need separate tickets for the Glacier Express and the Bernina Train. You just need a ticket Zermatt - Tirano via st. Moritz. But probably a Saver Day Pass is going to be the cheapest option. And then you need additionally a reservation for the Glacier Express.
