Visp to Zermatt

We purchased 1st class supersaver tickets , do we need seat reservations? do we need to make restaurant reservations as well?

The only train having a dining car on the Visp to Zermatt route is the PE Glacier Express.

As the regular trains on that route are RE trains, seats can not be reserved.
