It depends on the route of the train(s) you’ll chose, check the stops on the way. The STP covers either Domodossola to Grindelwald or Chiasso to Grindelwald.
So you’ll need an additional ticket for the not covered travel in Italy between Milan and either Domo or Chiasso.
