Nothing can be “charged” to a Swiss Half Fare Card as it is not a payment method. Therefore no app or website will ever tell you to do that.
Advice: Get your Matterhorn tickets from the friendly staff at the cable car station or the tourist office (while presenting them your SHFC), once you are in Zermatt and know that the weather will be good at the summit.
