Swiss Travel Flex Pass Window

I have a trip planned between July 25th and August 5th. I would like to get the Swiss Travel Flex Pass for 8 days. Is the definition of “…within one month” strictly July 1st to 31st only? I would plan to purchase the ticket with validity beginning on July 26th, so an 8 (or 15) day pass based on this definition should be unavailable. Would the ticket’s conditions instead be flexible within a 30 or 31-day period?

If you purchase the Swiss Travel Pass Flex with the first day of validity on 26 July, you can use it at will on either 8 or 15 days between 26 July and 26 August.

→ I, personally, do not recommend the Swiss Travel Pass Flex for less than 15 days. In my opinion, a 4 or 8 days Swiss Travel Pass Flex is not useful but pricey. I would rather suggest the Swiss Half Fare Card plus individual tickets or (Saver) Day Passes.
