I am planning to purchase half fare card for me and my wife once I reach Zurich. Which makes me entitled to get Swiss Family Pass for my 6 year old son. While doing advance ticket booking in SBB website, there is no option for Swiss Family Pass.
Some conversation says I don’t need to book any ticket for my son, but just 2 ticket for me and my wife.
However in https://www.sbb.ch/en/tickets-offers/tickets/guests-abroad/swiss-family-card.html it says:
“You receive the Swiss Family Card free of charge when you purchase a Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fare Card. Simply enter the children you are travelling with under “Add passengers” on SBB.ch. ”
If I do add my son as passenger, they are charged, please advise.
