Help determining which Travel Pass(es) to buy

We are arriving in August via Bellagio, Italy. We have purchased RESERVATIONS on the Glacier Express. I’m confused about what ticket/tickets we need and would like help. There are a lot of options….and I have specific dates I need to book.

1) 1 Day from Tirano to St. Moritz (from Italy)
2) Ticket to use with out reservation on Glacier Express
3) Ticket from Zermatt to Geneva Airport. We will only be in Zermatt a few hours overnight so I won’t be using it to get to top of mountain.

Do I purchase 3 Day Saver Tickets? Do I purchase a Swiss Travel Ticket? If so, how many days?
We are really using trains to get from major city to major city and don’t see us using for any other public transportation.

TIA - Appreciate any help with this.

Simply enter the depature and arrival point in the trip planner and see what the ticketing system suggests as a ticket. It might be a point to point ticket, or a Saver Day Pass or even a Supersaver ticket (e.g. Zermatt to Geneva Airport), all at full fare.

Your itinerary looks like a checklist: been there, done that.

Day 1: Bellaggio to Tirano to St. Moritz? All in one day?

Keep in mind, August is the vacation time in Italy. Locals and foreigners flock to the mountains and to the beaches for vacation.

Day 1 - We are not spending time in Tirano, it’s just the place the train goes through on the way to St. Moritz. Do you think getting from Bellagio to St. Moritz in 1 day is hard to do?
