You do not need to reserve seats, tickets are all you need.
The tickets will not be visible in the App unless you bought them in the app, or while logged in on the website with the same account you use for the app.
Anyway, you do not need to have them in the app. As long as you can present the QR codes to the conductor to scan you are fine.
