I have read the page on refunds (https://www.sbb.ch/en/help-and-contact/refunds-compensation/refunds-compensation/ticket-refunds.html) but am confused. It says there that “National tickets which you purchased at the standard price while logged on SBB.ch can be refunded or exchanged for free BEFORE the start of validity.” It then also says “National saver products (supersaver tickets, Saver Day Passes, Supersaver Class Upgrades) you purchased on SBB.ch while logged in can be refunded/exchanged free of charge within 30 minutes of the time of purchase.”
Is a ticket purchased with the tourist Half Fare card still defined as a "National ticket purchased at the standard price, and eligible for refund up until the period of validity, or is it classed as a National Saver Product, and only eligible for refund for 30 minutes after purchase?
Sorry for what must seem silly questions to those who are used to the Swiss train system, but we don’t have much public transport in Western Canada, and we confuse easily. 😵
Thank you, Community.
