I left my laptop in Zurich HB station at the bench.

I left my laptop on the bench in front of Burger King while carrying a lot of things. I had my hands full and accidentally left the laptop bag on the bench. When I came back, it was no longer there. Is it possible to report this to the police, or should I wait for a response from SBB Lost and Found?

Did you check if someone handed it over to the BK staff?

The only way is to file a lost property report with SBB: https://lostandfound.sbb.ch/home/sbb/SBB/app?Culturename=en

You could also ask the Zurich cantonal police what to do: +41 58 648 48 48
