Now that I have created account I am having trouble adding the SwissPass to my account.
It is not possible to add a travel pass manually to the SBB Mobile app. Travel passes only appear in the app provided you had purchased them using your customer account, and the same customer account is used on the SBB Mobile app for the log-in.
What to do now? đ”âđ«
You can present a travel pass (or better: its QR code) purchased as a guest to the ticket inspectors
- by showing the purchase confirmation e-mail containing the QR code, or
- by saving the PDF on your smart phone (and optionally adding a screenshot of the QR code in your photo gallery), provided you have the full PDF still accessible somewhere at any time, or
- by printing the travel pass and carry it as a hard copy
â Important:
All travel passes purchased through the webshop or using the SBB Mobile app, this having a QR code, need your physical passport or official identity card issued by the government. Photos on smart phones or paper copies are not accepted as proof of identity.
