Hello itsnaomi
Normal tickets can be exchanged at any time before the validity start date, for a fee of 10 CHF per request.
I really hope SBB improves this process soon without having to pay again just for a name issue.
Why should they?
The impossibility to amend Supersaver tickets has been introduced intentionally: to stop grey market activities.
Supersaver tickets offer discounts up to 50 %. That a name change is not possible for this ticket category is to prevent grey markets where people purchase all tickets and sell them at unreasonable high costs on other (doubtful) platforms.
The same applies for Saver offers of air travel tickets.
Since it looks like name issues are common among people in the forums
The number of requests on our platform is not in relation to the number of Supersaver tickets sold; 99 % of the Supersaver ticket users are aware of the rules or have taken notice of them upon purchase. The rules are transparently displayed.

Simply use your real name in the future and you will not face this issue again ☺️
Kind regards,
Roland
