Can I change seat reservations?

I am booking a train from Zurich to Milan and the app selects the seat automatically. Can I change the seat reservation later or at an SBB service station?

You can only select seats if you buy the tickets in the Trenitalia app.

I intend to buy a half-fare card and the Trenitalia app wants me to provide a pass number to buy with a discount. I don’t have it yet but want to buy tickets soon and select my seat. Can no one at SBB do that for me at a service station?

You can also buy tickets and select seats on raileurope.com or thetrainline.com without pass number. Select “Swiss Half Fare Card” as railcard.

Danhiel I have the Swiss Half Fare Card in my possession and cannot find a number that works as the “subscription” number asked for on the Trenitalia site - any idea where to find it? It needs to be an 8 digit number to work on Trenitalia, but I don’t see a number of that length.

I apologize. I didn’t realize there were specific people monitoring all the posts. I thought it was just a group of community members who may not see each post. I will for sure remember this for next time!
