Sending luggage from station to station using SBB

I would like to check in my luggage to be sent from a station say Zermatt to Interlaken.

I will only be buying a flexible Swiss travel pass for 6 days.

Question- during the checking in, must my pass be activated for the day that the luggage is travelling from Zermatt to Interlaken? As I would only be collecting my luggage 1 day later after the delivery of the arrival of the luggage.

Luggage can only be checked in if you have a ticket valid for the whole luggage transport route or one of the following annual travelcards:GA Travelcard, Point-to-Point Travelcard, Half Fare Travelcard, Regional Travelcard, FVP (travel discount for SBB employees), seven25 Travelcard, Modular Travelcard. Your pass doesn’t have to be activated, we only have to see that you have bought it.
