Validity Swiss Travel Pass from Prague

I need a good advice. I will be from Prague on May 13th traveling to Zurich and from there to Venice on May 16.
My questions:
1) Is a 4 -day Swiss pass worth it?;
2) Can I use Swiss pass from Prague to Zurich and then to Venice?;
3) Will I pay extra for tickets train seats on all the train rides in Switzerland and on these inter-country trips?

1) We do not know as we have no clue on what you plan to do while visiting Switzerland.

2) For a travel pass that has ‘Swiss’ in its name, you can be sure it is only valid in Switzerland and not in other European countries. Alternatively, you would have to use Eurail/Interrail; they are valid cross-country in Europe. For single tickets from Prague, we suggest using ÖBB ticket shop.

Beware that Prague is totally overrun in spring, so is Venice. If you love the crowd, they are your destinations.

RolandP Hi Roland! I decided to get Day Pass tickets for May 14 and May 15 as we plan to just see the country side on those days. And on the 16th, the morning will be spent around Old town Zurich where I got a Bnb, before heading to Venice in the afternoon. Basically, May 13th. will just be a travel day from Prague to Zurich, but hoping to see some beautiful scenic views along the way via Munich.
