Is it possible to refund by segments?

Our family, including children aged 10 and 12, will be traveling to Switzerland for 4 days. We purchased tickets from Paris, France to Grindelwald, Switzerland without any discounts. However, we later found out that it would be more economical for our children to use Junior Travel Cards, while my husband and I could benefit from using Saver Day Passes.
My ticket is refundable, but I want to know if I can refund only the Basel to Grindelwald segment and keep the Paris Lyon to Basel segment. In other words, is it possible to refund by segments? Currently, I can only cancel the entire Paris to Grindelwald route.

Welcome to the SBB Community.

No, you cannot cancel by segments. You would habe to cancel the entire ticket and repurchase two separate tickets. And, for purchasing the Junior Card you would have to stop at Basel SBB and go to the SBB Travel Center as the Junior Card for touris is only sold at the station.

And, the Saver Day Pass is nit valid in Grindelwald, other than for getting in and out by train.

Changing tickets is, in my opinion, not worth the effort.
