It will be my first time travelling on the SBB in a few weeks. While my initial plan was to travel from Milan to Wengen with changes at Spiez, Interlaken, and Lauterbrunnen, unfortunately it seems that the week I will be travelling has some major construction works towards Spiez, and my journey will be extended by 2hrs due to bus replacement services towards Domodossala. Due to this, I am considering stopping at Interlaken to get some food and walk around a bit before completing the rest of my journey. Am I able to exit the train station at Interlaken for a few hours, then enter again to catch the trains towards Wengen in the afternoon? Or is the international one-way ticket I intend to purchase only valid for specific times?
