Good morning, My father born 6 November 1953 entered my mother’s date of birth (3 Nov 1955) when making a booking on a train from Interlaken Ost to Basel. His name and other details are correct. will this be a problem seeing as it doesn’t change the category of his ticket(or its cost)

The date of birth is not only required to determine the ticket type, it is s security element to avoid that multiple people can travel with the same ticket.

Please call SBB to check if they can do anything: +41 51 225 78 56 (24/7, waiting times are possible).

If not, you would have to repurchase a new ticket as Supersaver tickets are not subject to a refund.

Thanks, I think it is probably just easier to buy another ticket thank to try and get it changed. it will make him more careful in future.😃
