4 Friends Pass

Hi, I’m interested—together with 3 other friends—in getting the 1-day unlimited travel pass across Switzerland for 4 people under 25 years old for 80 CHF. I was wondering if each of us can use the pass separately, or if all 4 of us need to be on the same train at the same time. The reason I ask is because we all live in different cities and would be taking different routes to reach our destination on the day we use the pass.

One person has to purchase the pass on their name and can use it throughout the day.

The three other travel companions cannot use it independently, the Friends Day Pass is only valid when they travel together with the person who has purchased the travel pass. Consequently, the three travel companions must purchase a separate ticket to the place where they all meet and from where they continue their journey together.
