We would like to inform you regarding the Swiss Half Fare Card and how to buy it from A to Z. From the very beginning till the moment when you have to show the Swiss Half Fare Card to the conductor🙂.

What is a Swiss Pass Login ?
If you register for a SwissPass login and sign into SBB.ch with your SwissPass login, you can set up your profile so that you can buy tickets more quickly, view your orders, arrange refunds and take advantage of a synchronization with the SBB Mobile app in order then to show the Swiss Half Fare Card, directly from the SBB Mobile App.
IMPORTANT❗: While you register for SwissPass login please proceed by clicking “No customer number”. This is because you neither need a customer number nore a SwissPass card for your Swiss Travel Pass.
What is a Swiss Half Fare Card ?
The Swiss Half Fare Card entitles passengers who are resident abroad to travel on trains, buses, boats and most mountain lifts or railways at half price (may be less than 50% on short-distance routes because of the minimum price). Perfect for short trips or excursions throughout Switzerland. The Swiss Half Fare Card is valid for one month and is available at almost all Swiss railway stations, at all points of sale worldwide, or online.
What is a Swiss Family Card ?
With the Swiss Family Card, children aged at least 6 and under 16 travel free of charge when accompanied by a parent with a valid Swiss Travel Pass. These card is given directly when you insert your Children during the purchase process.
