When my mum and I were travelling in Switzerland in January this year, I was trying to save a bit of money so I got my mum to use my friend’s half fare card (which was stupid, but I was just trying to save a bit of money at the time), I had the half fare card, and then on one of the trains the conductor found out about it, and I had a small argument with her (I was trying to trick her into thinking that my mum was the cardholder), but when she asked for our passports, we showed our real passports and she recorded it, and the lady looked very angry and told me that she was going to give my friend and me a separate ticket. We showed our real passports whilst she made a note of it, the lady looked very angry and said to me that she would be issuing separate tickets for my friend and my mum, on the spot she gave me a ticket in my friend’s name (237CHF), I paid this ticket online afterwards but I have not received any subsequent tickets in my mum’s name, I asked the SBB about this and sbb replied to me saying that their system does not have my mum’s details and therefore there is no subsequent bill to pay, but I would like to know if there will be some legal liabilities such as whether SBB will prosecute etc.
I know what I did was very stupid so I have paid the ticket but I am really worried about any follow up issues and me and my mum have left Switzerland and the address left at the time was a Swiss address, and it is the first time we have been fined
