Zermatt to Chur with Saver Day Pass

I bought a day saver pass for a trip from Zermatt to Chur. How do I use it? Can I get on the train without needing to purchase or book seats?

First of all: good day and welcome to the SBB Community.

From the ticket perspective, you are all set. All you need for travel is your physical passport (no copies or images of it) plus your Saver Day Pass (printed or on your phone).

However, if this trip is going to be by the direct Glacier Express (PE) train, you need a seat reservation for the respective cabin / seating class. The Glacier Express is one of two single Swiss trains requiring a mandatory seat reservation with your ticket. Get it from the operators website:
