Due to construction work, the Simplon route will be completely closed from 8 June to 27 July 2025 and from 30 August to 13 September 2025.
The timetables for the rail replacement buses are not yet known, so you cannot book tickets yet. Simply check again later.
The information just came out this morning (15 Apr). I personally find this short-term notices and changes very unfortunate as it makes rail travel unreliable and unpredictable; from my point of view this is certainly the main purpose why passengers rather take the plane than the train.
