Mistake Group reservation (cancellation not possible)

Dear SBB community,

I have made 11 seat reservations using a GA1 subscription (we are travelling with 1st class Interrail Passes), but unfortunately, some of them were booked incorrectly.

Most of the reservations are in 2nd class by mistake, and one of them is for the wrong train entirely. As these reservations were free of charge, I understand they cannot be cancelled via my online account.

However, I would like to avoid unnecessarily occupying seats that we will not use. Could you please cancel the following orders for me? •••••••••••••, •••••••••••••, •••••••••••••. There is no refund needed.

As SBB Community we are volunteering travek experts, not the SBB Customer Service. We do not have access to booking systems. For data protection reasons, your booking reservation locators where masked.

Group reservations can be amended by phone only: +41 51 225 78 56 (24/7).

When travelling with Interrail / Eurail, pleae make sure everyone has activated their travel day before entering a public transport service. And, everyone must show their phsysicam passport (no copies / images) unsolicitly.

RolandP Yes, I know about Interrail. I know this is not customer service. But I do assume that people from the SBB are watching, and that it is mainly in the interest of the SBB that the reservations are not made unnecessarily. But if the SBB only wants to receive those signals by phone, well. Okay. Then I’ll leave it at that.

Not occupying reserved seats does not block them, as reservations lapse when they are not taken. So you should not worry to much about this. Seat reservations are anyway not needed on most Swiss trains.

Krist Thanks. Yes. normaly we do not reservate Swiss trains, but only when we travel with a group. I know that they will then put up a note saying that the spots are reserved.
