Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share an update in case it helps someone else in the future.
I had emailed customer service and also asked here on the forum, but in the end, I got too anxious and decided to go to the counter at the station to ask about the issue directly.
It turns out that the reason I received an invoice despite having paid was because I used TWINT to make the payment—when it was actually supposed to be done via bank transfer. Because of this, the system treated my payment as a new contract, and saw the original renewal as unpaid, hence the invoice.
This was specific to my case, of course, but I think the main takeaway is: if you receive an invoice you don’t recognize, don’t just assume it’s a mistake—definitely check and confirm.
(Of course, always be careful of phishing or payment scams too!)
Thanks again to Roland and to anyone who took the time to read or think about this. I really appreciate it!
