FIP card and Supersaver tickets

I am travelling to Switzerland from the UK this summer, and I am looking to confirm my journeys in advance. I understand that with my FIP card I can get 50% off (most) single and return fares in Switzerland.

I am looking to confirm, is this 50% reduction valid on “Supersaver” tickets? And can I buy a Supersaver ticket online through SBB, using the “Half-Fare Travelcard” option, with my FIP acting as the half-fare travelcard?

Yes you can, but not the Saver Day Pass.

Just be aware of the fact that Supersaver tickets do kill any flexibility which is why we do not recommend them for sightseeing trips as you must respect the itinerary as given on your ticket.

Yes, you can use the ½ fare option; any day pass offers are excluded, however.
