Swiss Travel Pass - Milano Centrale to Grindelwald

I would like to ask if I can use the Swiss Travel Pass to travel from Milano Centrale to Grindelwald. If not, how should I arrange my trip? Thank you

You can use your Swiss Travel Pass from Domodossola or Chiasso (The swiss border) but you need to buy a separate ticket from Milano to the border station which is not included in the Swiss Travel Pass.

It depends on your travel plans maybe a regional pass like the Berner Oberland Pass is more suitable for you.

Thank you for your information. Since this is my first time taking an international train, I’m not very familiar with the process. I have already purchased a separate ticket from Milan to Domodossola on the “EuroCity 62” train. I would like to know if the next segment of the train journey can use the Swiss Travel Pass?
Also, when I arrive in Domodossola at 12:43 PM on May 31, 2025, will I need to transfer to an SBB train? Thank you for your help.

Your Swiss Travel Pass is valid in every train from Domodossola to Grindelwald, it means that you can stay in the Eurocity (this is also a SBB train in cooperation with Trenitalia) or even take a BLS regional train later if you want to make a break.

Please note that the Berner Oberland Pass, mentioned in the previous post, is valid only in the BLS trains.
