Travel from Zermatt to Andermatt Glacier Express

I have a Swiss Travel Pass 2nd Class. Can I upgrade to 1st class on the Glacier Express for just this part of the trip? Will be departing Glacier Express at Andermatt to travel onto Luzern.

You can. You can buy a class upgrade for the Zermatt - Andermatt section on www.sbb.ch, or at the station. Note that you also need a reservation.

Just to clarify: I would make my reservation in first class and select seat there.

To upgrade my STP to 1st class with a point-to-point ticket (Zermatt to Andermatt Glacier Express), I would choose the Half-Fare option? It seems that this is the instruction from other information given on this site. Or would I upgrade and pay the Full-Fare? Just want to confirm. Thanks.

The important thing is to have your reservation. The class upgrade you can always get at the station if you are worried you might end up doing the wrong thing.

Thank-you. I would like to know what that upgrade cost will be before choosing either 2nd or 1st class seat reservation. I when I upgrade on website-do I choose full option or Half Fare option?
